What is the format of the ECPE Exam?
The ECPE Test is the Examination for the Certificate of Proficiency in English.
The ECPE Test examines extremely high-level English language skills.
In some countries, the ECPE certificate is needed for a person to be qualified to teach in an English language school.
So, the ECPE exam is a very rigorous test of English language proficiency indeed.
The ECPE contains:

40 questions on conversational American English grammar

20 cloze questions (in one cloze passage)

40 advanced vocabulary questions
-
20 reading comprehension questions (4 passages with 5 questions each)
